Social responsibility is an ethical theory in which individuals are accountable for fulfilling their civic duty, and the actions of an individual must benefit the whole of society. In this way, there must be a balance between economic growth and the welfare of society and the environment.

At Prodigious, we have chosen a few beneficiaries that are very close to our heart where we feel we can make a difference not only to our industry, but also our community, society and environment as a whole.

These beneficiaries are listed below:

The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) is aimed at saving lives at sea and operates from over 30 bases around the coast of South Africa. The heartbeat of the organisation is its 1000+ skillful, experienced and unpaid volunteers, who are on standby throughout the year, day and night. The NSRI relies solely on donations and sponsorships to cover the costs involved in operations and training.
